前向きで実用的な励まし。状況は理想でない前提で「嘆くより工夫して乗り切る」を含意。会話でよく使う。相手の不満を軽視する言い方にならぬよう注意。
文法・使い方の注意点（日本語）
形は「make the best of + 名詞/it」が基本で語順は固定。「make the best of this/that/the situation」などに置換可。動詞は時制で made に変化。
