効率よく「一度で二得」を達成する肯定的ニュアンス。日常〜ビジネスで口語的に使える。動物を殺す直訳が強いので、文脈により「一石二鳥」が無難。

英語では語順がほぼ固定（kill + two birds + with one stone）。時制でkillが変化（kills/killed/killing）する以外は形を崩しにくい。
