補足（日本語）
「準備不足・先延ばし」の含みが出やすい。口語で一般的。文脈によっては「幸運にも間に合った」の感じもある。遅刻の言い訳に多用すると印象が悪い。
文法・使い方の注意点（日本語）
英語では前置詞とセットで使うのが普通（at/until/to the last minute）。the は固定で、通常 minute は単数形。
