具体的な日時を決めず「近いうちに／そのうち」を示す口語。約束としては曖昧になりがち。叱責の文脈では「そのうち〜になるぞ」の軽い警告。

多くは文頭・文末で副詞句として使う。「One of these days, S will ...」が典型。"one of those days"は別表現（ついてない日）なので注意。
