相手に結論や核心を求める言い方。命令形はやや強く失礼に聞こえることがあるので、丁寧に言うなら「Could you get to the point?」などが無難。

多くは命令・依頼の形で用いられる(Get to the point. / Could you…)。三人称では「gets to the point」、否定で「never/didn’t get to the point」など。
